Organic Foods

DESCRIPTION

Organic, in short, means without addition.  Foods that are organic in nature are natural and have no pesticides or growth hormones that are sometimes used in the foods we consume.  This is particularly true for produce.  There is considerable regulation over the organic food industry in the United States and abroad.  Organic foods are a simple science, but its measures can be quite complex.  In this category we hope to use common terms to explain how beneficial organic foods can be and what are some things to consider about these types of food products.  We also want to direct you to great sources that feature organic food items for sell and explore a few alternative purchase methods as well.
