DESCRIPTION

Teaching Green is a way to increase the impact that greening has on those around you.  It is also about the future.  The next generation of global citizens will inherit a world that has a far different set of challenges than their forefathers.  That generation will have less coal to make energy from, less oil to power automobiles and a higher percentage of carbon emissions opening up the Earth's atmosphere.  The challenge is arming that generation with tools that will help them face those challenges with confidence.  The first step is consciousness.  This category features lesson plans for students that encourage learning about the environment.  We are doing our part to begin Teaching Green.
